WOMEN'S RENEWAL RETREAT
-Weekend Getaway-

Already Registered? Visit Attendees' Page
The May Renewal Retreat is sold out. If you would like to be on our Waiting List or sign up for Day-Only attendance,  send us an email.

Renewal. Reconnection. Rebuilding.

This OMO retreat is an ideal experience for women who want time to relax and reset in the community of other women.
This all-inclusive weekend is for women who prioritize restorative self-care. It's also for those who value both togetherness and quiet. You will have an opportunity to connect with others as much as or as little as you prefer. Everything is included; there is no need for you to cook or clean or take care of anyone other than yourself. Meals are prepared daily and include a wide variety of fresh options. Various diets can be accommodated.
Why choose an OMO retreat?
[An OMO retreat is] a fabulous time out of our daily routines in a lovely comfortable setting with delicious food, wonderful opportunities for exploring topics and activities to nuture ourselves in community with incredible women, that allows for self-determination regarding the balance of alone time and interaction time. Just awesome!   ~May 2022 attendee

Workshops will be offered throughout the weekend. Topics covered include:
Renewing ourselves:
  • Self-care is healthcare.
You'll have the opportunity to treat yourself as you need to be treated, with space to explore art therapy, learn self-care tips, or take time to just be still and do nothing.
Reconnecting with community:
  • Women thrive in spaces where they feel seen, heard, and understood.
Whether you are a repeat retreat attendee or new, our goal is for you to find others that help you process feelings and realize your needs, goals, and wants (from the simple to the life-changing)
Rebuilding our lives:
  • Feelings of grief and loss are part of life and they abound as we deal with the pandemic and the changes our lives have been through since 2020. Through workshops and conversations, we'll address processing the different kinds of loss we have dealt with including the loss of loved ones and the disconnections we've felt in our personal, professional, and community lives because of the pandemic.
Workshop options will be posted soon.
We chose the Bon Secours Retreat Center because of its integration in nature, newly renovated facilities, affordability, delicious food, COVID safety over the pandemic, and convenience for us in Howard County. The extensive grounds of Bon Secours are open for you to explore alone or with others. The renovated, private rooms are fully stocked with everything you need, and rooms are even TV-free, so you can take a break from screens. With cozy meeting rooms, meditative spaces like the Labyrinth and Peace Garden, and quiet private rooms, our retreat group will have the space we need to laugh, to learn, and to just be.

Location: Bon Secours Retreat Center- 1525 Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104
Location: The serenity of these 313 acres of woodland and farmland rests at the high point of a hilly setting in the Howard County countryside some 20 miles from Baltimore City. The spacious grounds are a haven for native wildlife. The labyrinth and peace garden support more reflective activities.

We chose Bon Secours because of its COVID safety over the pandemic, integration in nature, newly renovated facilities, affordability, delicious food, and convenience for us in Howard County. Please note that Bon Secours was founded by a Catholic sisterhood so Christian elements will be on display. Crosses can be removed from rooms by guests as desired. Bon Secours is an independent organization separate from the Catholic Church, no funding goes to nor is provided by the Church. Bon Secours follows the same tenet as OMO: ALL ARE WELCOME; they host non-religious groups like ours as well as groups from other religions.
An amazing weekend of connecting with other women, learning, and taking time to do exactly what you want and need to do
